BARRELL CRAFT SPIRITS – FOUNDATION AND FOUNDATION DOUBLE BARREL COCKTAIL CONTEST

2025 OFFICIAL RULES

By entering the Barrell Craft Spirits Foundation and Foundation Double Barrel Cocktail Contest (“Contest”), you (“Entrant” or “you”) accept and agree to these official rules (“Official Rules”) and the decisions of Barrell Craft Spirits, LLC (“Sponsor”) relating to the Contest. Failure by Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

CONTEST PERIOD: February 1, 2025 through April 30, 2025 (“Contest Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States other than residents of AK, HI, KS, LA, NH, TX, or UT, who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, alcohol beverage retailers or distributors, their respective parent companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries, and their respective participating advertising, promotions, public relations agencies, members of the alcohol beverage industry and members of their immediate families and/or those living in the same household as such individuals may not enter. The Contest is (a) governed by these Official Rules, (b) void where prohibited or restricted by law, and (c) subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. By entering, you agree that you have read and consent to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s privacy policy available here. Eligibility is conditioned on the acceptance of these Official Rules and Sponsor’s privacy policy at the time of entry. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter, e-mail your submission (“Entry”) to Sponsor (cocktails@barrellbourbon.com) during the Contest Period. Each Entry must include Entrant’s name, age, mailing address, unique cocktail recipe, and an image or video of the cocktail. Entrant may submit one (1) Entry for Foundation Bourbon and one (1) Entry for Double Barrel Foundation, with a total limit of two (2) Entries per Entrant.

Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, or misdirected Entries, all of which are void. It is solely the responsibility of Entrant to notify Sponsor in writing of any changes to Entrant’s contact information during the Contest Period. Proof of submitting an Entry does not constitute proof of delivery. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to Entrant. Use of multiple e-mail or mailing addresses to obtain more than the stated number of Entries, is prohibited and such persons will be disqualified, their Entries deemed invalid, and any Prize won forfeited.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Each Entry must comply with the following:

Each Entry should be an original creation or unique interpretation on an established cocktail. Entries should be the original work of Entrant, created solely by Entrant, and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights of any person or entity.
Entries shall not feature, mention, refer to, or otherwise allude to the name, logo, or trademark of any entity, third-party, product, or brand other than BARRELL CRAFT SPIRITS.
The Entry may not have been previously published or distributed in any media, and may not have been entered in or won any previous sweepstakes, contest, or other promotion.
Any Entry that promotes any form of irresponsible drinking, or that contains lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, disparaging, defamatory, libelous, obscene, or other inappropriate content or objectionable material shall not be submitted and may be disqualified at any time in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Entries shall not contain any images or personally identifiable information of any person other than Entrant. Should any Entry include personally identifiable information about Entrant, you acknowledge and agree that such information will be disclosed publicly, and that you are solely responsible for any consequences thereof.

Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Entry that it believes violates or potentially violates any of the foregoing requirements or otherwise fails to comply with any provision of these Official Rules.

JUDGING: Entries will be judged by a panel consisting of members of Sponsor’s blending team (the “Panel”). The Panel will select winners (each a “Winner”) based on these Official Rules and such other criteria in the Panel’s discretion.

PRIZES: There will be FIVE (5) prizes (each a “Prize”):

One (1) FIRST PLACE prize consisting of a trip for the Winner to Louisville, KY during National Bourbon Heritage Month in September 2025, including: (i) round-trip coach class airfare from the commercial airport nearest to Winner’s residence to Louisville, KY; (ii) hotel accommodation at a hotel of Sponsor’s choosing, consisting of one (1) double occupancy hotel room and tax only for two (2) nights; (iii) an exclusive experience with Sponsor’s founder and blending team at Sponsor’s blending facility and rickhouse; and (iv) ground transportation between the hotel and Sponsor’s facilities (approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $2,500. All luggage fees, meals, additional ground transportation, gratuities, alcoholic beverages, and any other incidental costs or expenses not specifically set forth herein are not included and the responsibility of Winner. If a potential winner is unable to travel during September 2025, he/she must forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. The ARV may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure point and destination. Winner will not receive the difference between actual prize value and the ARV. Sponsor or its agent will determine the airline and flight itinerary at its sole discretion. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible if the scheduled flight is delayed, postponed, or canceled and the Winner will not be reimbursed for tickets. Sponsor is not responsible if the Winner does not use tickets or vouchers on date(s) for which they are issued.

One (1) SECOND PLACE prize consisting of a Peter Millar duffle bag with BARRELL CRAFT SPIRITS logo and a BARRELL CRAFT SPIRITS cocktail set (ARV of $205).
One (1) THIRD PLACE prize consisting of a BARRELL CRAFT SPIRITS cocktail set and flight board (ARV of $150).
One (1) FOURTH PLACE prize consisting of a BARRELL CRAFT SPIRITS cocktail set and set of Glencairn glasses (ARV of $93).
One (1) FIFTH PLACE prize consisting of a BARRELL CRAFT SPIRITS cocktail set (ARV of $75).

Alcohol is not part of any Prize. Limit one (1) Prize per person. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Winner may not substitute, exchange, or transfer any Prize. By accepting a Prize, the Winner agrees to abide by any terms, conditions, and restrictions relating to Prize elements. Taxes on Prizes are the sole responsibility of winner.

Odds of winning a Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

Winners will be notified by e-mail on or about June 2, 2025.

CLAIMING PRIZES: Winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. By accepting a Prize, the Winner: (a) releases Sponsor and its licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any all claims, actions, or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; and (b) consents to the use by Sponsor for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with this Contest and general use of the images submitted with Entries, of his or her name, likeness, and/or voice without further compensation. Proof of identification and age verification will be required.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: As a condition of entry, Entrant agrees that Sponsor shall have the right to use, copy, modify and make available the Entry in connection with the operation, conduct, administration, and promotion of the Contest and of Sponsor via communication to the public. Furthermore, by accepting any Prize, the Winner grants (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing) to Sponsor the perpetual right to use his/her name, photos, and likeness, video, and recipe for promotion, trade, commercial, advertising, and publicity purposes, at any time or times, in all media now known or hereafter discovered without notice, review, or approval and without additional compensation, except where otherwise prohibited by law.

RELEASE; WAIVER: By participating in the Contest, you hereby: (i) agree to release Sponsor, participating vendors, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising, promotion, and public relations agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (“Released Parties”) from any and all liability, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with their participation in this Contest or with respect to awarding or receipt of any Prize; and (ii) waive all rights to claim punitive, exemplary, special, incidental, indirect, and consequential damages and any other damages (whether due to negligence or otherwise), other than for actual out-of-pocket costs.

DISPUTES; CONSTRUCTION: Except where prohibited, by participating, each Entrant agrees that all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any Prizes, shall be resolved individually without resort to class action, and any judicial proceedings shall take place in a federal or state court within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or of Entrant’s and Sponsor’s respective rights and obligations in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky without regard to its conflict of law rules. If any provision of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.

WARRANTY AND INDEMNITY: Entrant represents and warrants that their Entry is original, that they are the sole and exclusive owner and rights holder of such Entry, and that they have the right to submit the Entry in the Contest. Entrant further represents and warrants that their Entry does not: (1) infringe any third-party proprietary, intellectual property, industrial property, personal rights or other rights, including any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or confidentiality obligation; (2) include any personally identifiable information of any person other than Entrant; or (3) otherwise violate any applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Entrant agrees to indemnify the Released Parties at all times from and against any liability, actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses for or in respect of which any Released Party may become liable by reason of or related or incidental to any act, default, or omission by Entrant under these Official Rules including resulting from or in relation to any breach, non-observance, act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of these Official Rules by Entrant.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest or any portion thereof at any time, and for any reason without further obligation or advance notice.
