We're proud to be a finalist in the 2014 Ultimate Spirits Challenge! In a blind taste test, Barrell scored 94 out of 100 points to tie Pappy 15 Years, Blanton's Gold, Pritchard's Double Barreled, Four Roses Limited Edition 2014, Bowman Brothers Small Batch, Woodford Reserve, and Jim Beam Signature Craft 12 Years.
Here's what the judges say:
A complex bouquet of crushed toasted walnuts, honey vanilla and tangerine leaps from the glass. Once in the mouth it is luscious and deep with honey notes accompanying citrus, vanilla and an underlying hint of campfire smoke. The finish is lengthy, complex and slightly sweet. Outstanding.

Join Barrell Bourbon on Saturday, March 29th for the second annual Whiskey Festival at the Harrison Wine Vault. Over 35 different whiskeys will be available to taste! The entrance fee is $10 and will be donated to Pet Rescue. We'll be serving Barrell Bourbon all afternoon so stop by and say hi!
