A real piece of history is now a part of Barrell Craft Spirits.
The five-story, 89,000 sq. ft. rickhouse, shown in this video, can house more than 17,500 barrels and is going to provide Barrell Craft Spirits with much needed storage space, given the increased demand for our award-winning products. BCS purchased the rickhouse, located in Shively, KY, from Angel's Envy in December 2022. Originally built in 1940 as part of a Yellowstone Distillery campus following the repeal of Prohibition, it's been owned and operated by several companies since then, including Florida Distillers, and Glenmore Distilling Company of Owensboro.
