WHAT'S NEXT FOR BARRELL BOURBON

We hit the ground running

It's hard to believe that it's been a year since we bottled our first batch of Barrell Bourbon! In just twelve months we've released and sold out of three great batches of bourbon, each with a completely different flavor profile and proof.

Remember last winter? It was really cold and seemed to last forever. Fortunately, we had great bourbon to look forward to after each long day of knocking on doors and introducing people to Barrell. From the Bronx to Brooklyn, Westchester to West New York, we were there. FYI, Brooklyn is really cold.

We continued our march outward in the spring, and got our product on the shelf in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Oregon. (We didn't actually march to Oregon - they called us.) We also teamed up with some great online retailers who sold Barrell Bourbon to customers in over 37 states. The best part? People are starting to recognize us and we're getting great feedback from our customers.

We're out there

We're on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. #cheers

We're tasty

In 2014, we did 75 tastings and participated in 6 whiskey festivals this year includingThe Caskers Craft Spirits Celebration and Jewbilee in New York City, the Rhode Island Whiskey Experience III, the Whiskey Festival at the Harrison Wine Vault, WeHa Whiskey festival in West Hartford and WhiskyLive Boston. Look for us to be in more places in 2015. Stop by and say hello.

We're getting press

Geoff Kleinman, nationally recognized spirits columnist and staff reviewer forWhiskey Advocate Magazine, recently gave Barrell Bourbon a great review in his blog DrinkSpirits.com. Warren Bobrow, author of Apothecary Cocktails and Whiskey Cocktails, features our bourbon regularly in drink recipes and articles which he publishes for multiple online sites. Warren is featured in the Cocktail Whisperer's corner on our website under Recipes.

What's up

Lots of great things planned for the coming year, including the immediate release of Barrell Whiskey Batch 001 in January and Barrell Bourbon Batch 004 soon to follow. Our first batch of whiskey is blended from 7 and 8 year old whiskeys aged in oak barrels. Here's a link to the flavor notes on our website:
